You can choose between three types of leather for your next DIY project. Our cowhide and buffalo leather pieces are sturdier and more robust than our other products, due to the thicker material. Our goatskin leather products are more flexible and soften over time. Choose which leather best suits you! At Gusti Leather, our products represent individuality and uniqueness. And the best part is—they’re all one of a kind! The products in our “Gusti Leather nature” range are handmade using traditional manufacturing processes by family businesses in India. This process doesn’t just give our products their unique look but ensures that they are high quality and long-lasting. When you buy something from Gusti Leather, you’re buying something that’ll last you forever! Our “Gusti Leather nature” products are tanned and dyed using traditional, plant-based tanning methods which give these pieces of leather an eye-catching vintage look. This natural process gives the leather a unique smell, which can be strong at first but will wear off as you use your product. The surface of the leather may have a couple of small marks or scratches due to the fact that we use leather from free-range goats. But don't panic! A little bit of beeswax helps improve the look of marks and enhances the unique vintage look of your pieces of leather. The products in our “Gusti Leather studio” range are manufactured by companies in Italy and India who work in accordance with international labor standards. The products in this range are made from cowhide, buffalo, and goatskin leather. The leather is chemically tanned and will win you over with its robustness. In order to ensure the consistent high-quality of our leather products, we regularly conduct random spot checks in our independent laboratories and carry out unannounced visits to the work areas.
